Water and Earth, Elementals Reunited: Couple Parted by Drought

Water and Earth Reunited

In light of the drought and Pride month of 2022 , I wanted to do something that combines two different fantasies for me: the guarantee of downpour (or any precipitation) to relieve my home state of this megadrought and the guarantee that such a thing as lasting love between two men can come to pass.

I have come to refer to good, desirable men as "deluge", "almighty downpour", "rain of the seven storms", and other terms in deference to how precious that water (and a good mate) is; many terms of endearment are based on goods that are rare or dear (expensive) and therefore more precious, as in "my treasure" or "dearest".

All of which culminates with this painting of this reunited water and earth elemental couple.
